APGA National Chairman, Sly Ezeokenwa Congratulates new NBA President, Mazi Afam Osigwe

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, has congratulated Mazi Afam Osigwe (SAN) on his emergence as the 32nd President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).

In a statement issued today, Barr. Ezeokenwa expressed his profound sense of elation and admiration for Mazi Afam Osigwe’s historic victory. He lauded the newly elected NBA President's relentless dedication, unwavering professionalism, and exceptional character, which have earned him the trust and support of the entire NBA community.

"As a dedicated member of the NBA, I take great pride in acknowledging Mazi Afam Osigwe's relentless dedication, unwavering professionalism, and exceptional character. These traits, clearly apparent to the NBA community, have rightfully earned him their trust, and rightfully so, for they have resulted in his well-deserved election to the lofty position of NBA President," Ezeokenwa stated.

He further described Mazi Afam Osigwe (SAN) as a paragon of legal expertise and integrity. "Mazi Afam Osigwe (SAN) is, without a shadow of a doubt, the paragon of legal expertise and integrity. His unwavering commitment to justice, innovative approach, and inclusive leadership will undoubtedly drive the association forward during these critical times, just as he successfully demonstrated during his tenure as a former NBA General Secretary," he added.

The APGA National Chairman also highlighted the alignment of the new NBA President's vision with the core values of APGA. "As you unfurl your visionary leadership, APGA stands with you, steadfast in our mutual commitment to pursuing justice, transparency, inclusive leadership, economic prosperity, fight against corruption, and societal betterment, which you have pledged to champion," Ezeokenwa affirmed.

Ezeokenwa emphasized the significance of Osigwe's leadership at a time when the legal profession and the nation at large are navigating complex challenges. He expressed confidence that the new NBA President's tenure would usher in a new era of progress and innovation for the association.
