A Federal High Court in Abuja has issued an order requiring Edozie Njoku to stop parading himself as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) with immediate effect. This directive comes amid an ongoing legal tussle within the party.

A legal practitioner, who chose to remain anonymous, revealed this development, noting that a certified true copy of the court order had been obtained. The lawyer highlighted the significance of this ruling, considering it a major victory for APGA as it effectively nullifies Njoku's claims to the party's leadership.

The lawyer emphasized that neither the Supreme Court, the Appeal Court, nor any Federal High Court had ever recognized Njoku as the legitimate national chairman of APGA. This clarification is expected to quell the confusion and disputes surrounding the party's leadership.

Furthermore, the lawyer warned that if Njoku fails to comply with the court order, he could face charges of contempt of court, potentially resulting in imprisonment. This stern warning underscores the seriousness of the court's directive and the legal implications of non-compliance.

The legal practitioner also expressed confidence in Governor Charles Soludo's leadership as the national leader of APGA and Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa as the legitimate national chairman. He assured party members that APGA is in capable hands under their stewardship.

This court order brings relief to many APGA members who have been troubled by the ongoing leadership crisis. The ruling is seen as a step towards restoring stability and unity within the party.

With this legal clarification, Governor Soludo is now expected to contest the 2025 elections on the APGA platform, with Barrister Ezeokenwa providing leadership as the national chairman. This anticipated alignment is likely to strengthen the party's position in the upcoming elections.

The resolution of this leadership dispute is crucial for APGA as it prepares for future political engagements. Ensuring a unified front under recognized leadership will be key to the party's success and effectiveness in the political arena.

The legal practitioner's revelations and the court's order mark a turning point for APGA, aiming to resolve internal conflicts and focus on its political objectives. Party members and stakeholders will be closely monitoring the situation to ensure compliance with the court's ruling.

Overall, this development represents a significant step towards stabilizing APGA's leadership and reinforcing its organizational structure, which is vital for its long-term viability and success in Nigeria's political landscape.
