APGA OSUN GETS NEW SECRETARIAT, UNVEILS BLUEPRINT FOR 2026 OSUN GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION

The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has achieved a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new secretariat in Osogbo. The new facility, fully equipped to meet the administrative needs of the party, hosted the second stakeholders' meeting on August 17, 2024. This development stressed APGA's commitment to strengthening its organizational capacity ahead of the 2026 Osun Governorship Election.

In his address at the stakeholders' meeting, the State Chairman of APGA, Wole Adedoyin, expressed his delight at the establishment of the new secretariat. He emphasized that this new hub would serve as the epicenter for all party activities in the state, providing a conducive environment for strategy development and execution. According to him, the secretariat symbolizes a new dawn for APGA in Osun, marking the beginning of an era of increased engagement and effectiveness.

A key highlight of the meeting was the unveiling of the 2026 Governorship Election blueprint. This comprehensive document outlines the strategic approach necessary to secure victory in the upcoming elections. The blueprint focuses on grassroots engagement, robust policy development, strategic communication, and effective resource management. Each of these components is designed to ensure that APGA is well-positioned to connect with voters and address their needs effectively.

Wole Adedoyin highlighted that the blueprint is the product of extensive research and consultation with stakeholders at various levels. He noted that it reflects the aspirations of the Osun people and APGA's vision for a prosperous state. Adedoyin called on all party members to rally behind the blueprint and work tirelessly towards its implementation.

The State Publicity Secretary, Prince Oluwabusuyi Oluwabamigbe, also addressed the press, stating that the blueprint is not just a document but a roadmap to victory. He emphasized that APGA is focused on delivering a campaign that resonates with the people, particularly at the grassroots level, where the heart of Osun politics lies. Oluwabamigbe assured that the party's communication strategies would be both innovative and inclusive, ensuring that every voice is heard and every vote is counted.

Oluwabamigbe further noted that the blueprint prioritizes policy areas that directly impact the lives of Osun residents. These include education, healthcare, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment. By addressing these critical areas, APGA aims to present a governance model that is both people-centered and result-oriented.

The meeting also saw the reaffirmation of APGA's commitment to transparency and accountability. Adedoyin assured stakeholders that the party's campaign funds would be managed prudently, with a clear focus on ensuring that resources are allocated where they are needed most. He stressed the importance of unity and collaboration among party members as they work towards a common goal.

Adedoyin concluded the meeting by calling on all party members to remain steadfast and committed to the cause. He reminded them that the journey to the 2026 Governorship Election would require dedication, hard work, and resilience. However, he expressed confidence that with the newly unveiled blueprint, APGA is on the right path to making history in Osun State.

The stakeholders' meeting ended on a high note, with members expressing optimism about the party's chances in the upcoming election. The new secretariat and the strategic blueprint have undoubtedly given APGA a strong foundation as it embarks on the road to 2026.
