APGA OSUN LAUNCHES PROJECT VREEM TO DRIVE MASSIVE VOTER REGISTRATION AHEAD OF 2027 ELECTIONS
The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has officially launched a new civic project tagged Project VREEM: Voters Registration, Education, Engagement, and Mobilization, designed to sensitize and mobilize citizens across the state for the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
According to the party leadership, the initiative is strategically designed to cover the entire cycle of democratic participation—register → learn → engage → act—ensuring that every eligible citizen in Osun is empowered with the information and opportunity to exercise their civic duty in the 2027 general elections.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the 2025 Continuous Voter Registration exercise has commenced, offering residents an opportunity to either register for the first time or update their voter details. APGA Osun, through Project VREEM, is calling on citizens to seize this chance to validate their electoral status and strengthen their democratic voice.
The exercise is open to: citizens who lost or damaged their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), residents who changed their place of residence and need to transfer polling units, and first-time voters who recently turned 18 years of age. APGA Osun stressed that participation in this exercise is not optional but essential for those who want their voices heard in shaping the state and nation’s future.
Project VREEM will run on social media to educate citizens on the importance of voter registration, guide them through the online pre-registration process, and ensure that eligible voters understand what documents to bring to the INEC centers.
The CVR process will be carried out in two steps. The first step is Online Pre-Registration, which begins on Monday, 18th August 2025 via https://cvr.inecnigeria.org
