By Wole Adedoyin

As Muslims worldwide observe the holy month of Ramadan, the Southwest chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has extended its heartfelt greetings to the Muslim community.

APGA Southwest acknowledged the significance of Ramadan as a time for spiritual growth, self-discipline, and compassion. Muslims devote themselves to fasting, prayer, and charitable acts, fostering a sense of unity and empathy within their communities.

Alhaji Owolabi Suraj Olanrewaju, the National Vice Chairman (Southwest) of APGA, emphasized the importance of unity and understanding during Ramadan. He highlights its role in bringing people together and expresses APGA Southwest's commitment to promoting interfaith dialogue and celebrating the country's rich diversity.

Extending greetings to the Muslim community, APGA Southwest reaffirmed its dedication to inclusivity, tolerance, and the principles of justice and equality. Ramadan serves as a reminder of the shared values that unite humanity, transcending differences and promoting empathy and compassion.

APGA Southwest encouraged everyone to reflect on the universal lessons of Ramadan – empathy, generosity, and gratitude. These values are especially important in today's world, offering hope and inspiration for a more compassionate and equitable future.

The Southwest chapter recognized the significant contributions of the Muslim community to Nigeria's cultural, social, and economic fabric.

APGA Southwest called on individuals of all faiths and backgrounds to join in solidarity with Muslims during Ramadan, offering support and understanding.
