Fourth Minutes of Osun APGA EXCO Meeting held on March 16, 2024

 

MINUTES OF THE FOURTH STATE EXECUTIVE MEETING OF APGA HELD ON MARCH 16, 2024


 

Date: March 16, 2024
Venue: NUJ Press Center, beside Technical College, Osogbo
Time: 2:30 PM - 3:20 PM
Attendees: Eight executive members

  1. Mr. Bode Abimbola (Baba Elite)
  2. Awojide Peter
  3. Mr. Abdulsalam Isaq
  4. Mr. Olopade Victor
  5. Mr. Oyerinde Peter
  6. Mr. Wole Adedoyin
  7. Mr. Olatunji Olatunde
  8. Madam Bukky Ademola

Absentee: Adekunle Gbadebo (due to his father's demise)

  1. The meeting commenced promptly at 2:30 PM with an opening prayer led by Mr. Bode Abimbola, known as Baba Elite.
  2. Following the opening prayer, Mr. Abimbola outlined the rules and regulations of the party for the meeting.
  3. The Chairman then requested the Secretary to read the minutes from the previous meeting.
  4. Upon completion of the reading, the Chairman invited members to provide any observations or amendments.
  5. A few observations were brought up by the Chairman, and after a brief discussion, the minutes from the previous meeting were adopted by all present.
  6. The Chairman raised the issue of Mr. Olatunji Olatunde’s recent absences from meetings.
  7. Mr. Olatunde addressed the concerns, providing explanations for his absences and advising the members to remain patient and understanding.
  8. Baba Elite encouraged the members to handle their responsibilities with caution and trust in the power of God, emphasizing that even small efforts contribute to larger goals.
  9. The meeting proceeded with financial matters. Donations were made by several executive members as follows:
    • Mr. Adedoyin: ₦1,000
    • Mr. Adewumi: ₦2,000
    • Mr. Olopade: ₦500
    • Mr. Adekunle: ₦1,000
    • Mr. Oludare: ₦500
    • Madam Bukky: ₦500
    • Mr. Peter: ₦500
  10. The Chairman promised to establish a committee to manage contributions and explore additional fundraising strategies.
  11. Mr. Olopade provided an update regarding the two bags of maize and one bag of rice that had been donated.
  12. It was agreed by all present that the maize and rice would be distributed among the executive members in attendance.
  13. The remaining balance of ₦7,300 was entrusted to the Financial Secretary, who would oversee its use and expenditure.
  14. An additional ₦6,500 was realized from donations and was also kept with the Financial Secretary for proper management.
  15. The Financial Secretary reported that some of the funds had been used for various expenses related to the meeting and other activities.
  16. The meeting was productive and included detailed discussions on how to manage resources and contributions effectively.
  17. Members agreed on the importance of transparency in financial dealings and maintaining accurate records.
  18. The meeting concluded with a closing prayer led by Mr. Adekunle Gbadebo.
  19. The Chairman thanked everyone for their contributions and participation, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in achieving the party’s goals.
  20. The meeting officially adjourned at 3:20 PM.
