APGA National Secretary Congratulates Gov. Soludo on Credible LG Election

 APGA NATIONAL SECRETARY CONGRATULATES GOV. SOLUDO ON CREDIBLE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mr. Ibrahim Mani, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, on the successful conduct of the recently concluded local government election. 

This election, widely judged by observers as free, fair, and credible, saw APGA candidates triumph at the polls, affirming the party's strength and the confidence of the people of Anambra in the leadership of Governor Soludo.

In a statement issued by Mr. Mani, he commended Governor Soludo, who also serves as the National Leader of APGA, for his visionary leadership and commitment to democratic principles, which resulted in a smooth and transparent election process. "Governor Soludo's leadership has once again proven that APGA remains a force to be reckoned with, not just in Anambra but across Nigeria," Mani stated.

Mr. Mani also praised the people of Anambra State for their massive turnout and peaceful conduct during the elections. He noted that the high level of voter participation demonstrated the people's trust in the democratic process and their faith in the candidates presented by APGA. "The people of Anambra have spoken loudly and clearly, and their message is one of support for Governor Soludo’s administration and APGA's vision for progress," he added.

Furthermore, the APGA National Secretary highlighted the role of the Anambra Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) and security agencies in ensuring a seamless election. "The cooperation between ANSIEC and other stakeholders made this election a success. Their professionalism contributed to a peaceful and transparent electoral process," Mani noted.

Mr. Mani did not fail to commend APGA's National Chairman, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, for his steadfast leadership during a time of internal challenges. He remarked, "Despite the rigmaroles and legal challenges posed by Edozie Njoku and his cohorts, APGA, under the able leadership of Barr. Ezeokenwa, has remained resilient. The recent court proceedings have shown that justice will soon prevail, and APGA will emerge stronger."

According to Mr. Mani, the restlessness displayed by Njoku and his associates during the Federal High Court proceedings was telling. He expressed confidence that when the matter is finally decided, justice will catch up with the imposters, and the truth will triumph. "The imposters have been speechless in court, and we await the final judgment with great optimism," Mani declared.

Reflecting on the importance of the local government election, Mani emphasized that APGA’s success at the polls is a testimony to the rebranding efforts of the party under Barr. Ezeokenwa. "Our National Chairman has worked tirelessly to reposition the party, and the results of the local government elections are a reflection of his dedication," he said.

Mani further called on all party members and supporters to celebrate the victory, not only for APGA but for democracy as a whole. "This victory is for every APGA member and the people of Anambra who believe in the principles of good governance, accountability, and transparency," he remarked.

As the Federal High Court’s decision on the legal battle approaches, Mr. Mani expressed optimism about the outcome. He urged party members to remain calm and focused, noting that APGA's victory in the court will be the final nail in the coffin of those attempting to disrupt the party’s progress. "I congratulate us in advance, as the court's decision will soon vindicate us," he stated.
