OSUN APGA HONOURS DR. MAZI OPARA, ALH. OWOLABI WITH BIRTHDAY TRIBUTES
The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has felicitated two of its national leaders, Dr. Mazi Ejimofor Opara and Alhaji Suraj Owolabi, on the occasion of their birthdays, commending their dedication and meritorious service to the party’s development across the country.
In a goodwill message issued on Thursday by the Osun APGA Chairman, Wole Adedoyin, the state chapter celebrated the duo for their roles in shaping the strategic direction of the party and for their unwavering commitment to the ideals of APGA at both the regional and national levels.
According to Adedoyin, Dr. Mazi Ejimofor Opara, who currently serves as the National Publicity Secretary of APGA, has consistently projected the party’s voice with integrity and precision. “Opara is a force within the party’s communication structure, and his media engagement has played a key role in boosting the public image of APGA,” he noted.
The Chairman further acknowledged Alhaji Suraj Owolabi’s immense contributions as the National Vice Chairman (Southwest), describing him as “a political bridge-builder and grassroots mobiliser” whose efforts have enhanced APGA’s relevance in the Southwest geopolitical zone.
Highlighting the significance of their leadership, Adedoyin noted that both Opara and Owolabi exemplify the spirit of loyalty, service, and patriotism that APGA holds dear. He called on younger members of the party to emulate their leadership style and commitment to the party’s mission.
“As we celebrate their birthdays, we are reminded of the values they embody—sacrifice, resilience, and a deep belief in the APGA philosophy of ‘Being Your Brother and Sister’s Keeper,’” Adedoyin added. “They have become symbols of hope and stability within our political family.”
The statement also extended appreciation to the families of both celebrants for their unwavering support and understanding. “Leadership demands sacrifice, and the families of these great men have shared in that sacrifice. We honour and appreciate them,” he remarked.
Reflecting on the impact of their leadership, Osun APGA listed numerous achievements driven under their watch, including enhanced media visibility, party reorganization efforts, and increased grassroots engagement—all of which have strengthened the party’s national cohesion.
In addition to the birthday wishes, the Osun State Chapter reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the national leadership of the party and contributing meaningfully to APGA’s ongoing expansion and future electoral victories.
“On behalf of the Osun APGA family, we celebrate our leaders, Dr. Mazi Ejimofor Opara and Alhaji Suraj Owolabi,” Adedoyin concluded. “May their new age usher in greater heights, robust health, and renewed energy for service to the party and the nation at large.
